Founded in 1581, the Uffizi Gallery is the oldest museum in modern Europe.

The building was not museum at first, but it was built to house the administrative offices of the Medici government.

We visit the rooms full of extraordinary masterpieces, from Giotto and the Middle Age painters, to the Renaissance works by Masaccio, Piero della Francesca and Botticelli. We will see Leonardo’s early works and the only painting by Michelangelo still remaining in Florence, the famous ”Tondo Doni”. From Raphael to Titian and Caravaggio, all the great Italian and European artists are displayed in this famous museum.

The tour includes: Uffizi Museum (reservation fee and ticket not included, closed on Monday). The reservation is strongly recommended to avoid long queues
