This tour is dedicated to the beginners as introduction to the city.

We cross the main squares and streets of Florence, starting from the religious heart with the Duomo Santa Maria del Fiore and its dome, a masterpiece designed by the great architect Brunelleschi, the Giotto bell tower and the Baptistery

Walking in the narrow streets where the poet Dante Alighieri was born, we reach the main road, via dei Calzaioli, rebuilt in the XIX century, and the medieval Orsanmichele Church, with its beautiful gallery of sculptures. The wide Signoria Square is the political heart, with the massive Signoria Palace and the statues, political symbols of the different rulers of the city. We finish at Ponte Vecchio, famous for its jewelleries and goldsmiths shops

The tour includes: Duomo square, Santa Maria del Fiore (free entrance), Baptistery (entrance fee not included), Dante’s district, Orsanmichele Church (free entrance), Signoria Square, Ponte Vecchio. The churches might be closed for masses. Conservative attire is recommended when visiting the churches. The tour can be customized according to your wishes.
