If you love painting, we offer a more detailed tour of the Vatican Museums. Our itinerary includes the Vatican Picture Gallery, that numbers among its artists Giotto, Fra Angelico, Guido Reni, Raphael, Caravaggio, Titian, Leonardo da Vinci and Nicolas Poussin.

The collection is organized in chronological order, displaying the evolution of italian painting across the centuries. We will visit the Galleries, particularly the Gallery of the Maps, Raphael's Rooms, especcially his famous "School of Athens".

We will see the Borgia Apartment, decorated with frescoes by Pinturicchio, that contains the Vatican's collection of modern art, with paintings by artists such as Van Gogh, Gauguin, Bernard Buffet, Salvador Dalì. We will then move on to the Sistine Chapel, with its breathtaking frescoes by Michelangelo, Botticelli, Perugino, Ghirlandaio, Signorelli, finishing our tour with the lower galleries.

The visit include :  Raphael's Rooms with his "School of Athens", Borgia Apartment and Modern Art collection, Sistine Chapel and its frescoes (Michelangelo, Botticelli..), Pinacoteca Vaticana. Entrance to the Vatican Museums 14,00 euro + cost of audio-guide (mandatory for groups of over seven people).
