Guided walking tour of Bologna : "painting"

Our Po plain is made of clay, so we do not have stone to carve, nevertheless what would you say about our paintings? From the passional gothic style of Vitale da Bologna to the sweet classicity of Guido Reni, many others Masters with sharp characters decorated churches and palaces, public or private.

Today the magnificient trompe l’oeil and frescoes are still existing, often hidden in a private palace that it is sometimes possible to visit with GuideBologne as we ask the owner to open the especially for our curiest visitors. Paintings are also in our numerous churches and museums , most of them are free.… The most important is the National gallery ( free for seniors and children) wich reveal many outstanding works of art:….
