A tour for those who already know the main museums of the city or simply want to enjoy the magnificence and the power of the Medici family and the following rulers, the Lorraine and the Savoy family. This building, first built for the bankers Pitti, was then bought by the Medici and transformed into the royal palace of Florence. Inside there are splendid collections of paintings, sculptures, frescoes, tapestries, precious furniture, jewels, porcelaines and costumes. The backside of the palace overviews the famous Boboli Gardens, designed in the 16th century. The building is divided into several museums. The tour includes: Palazzo Pitti. You can choose between two cumulative tickets: Palatine Gallery, Royal Apartments and Gallery of Modern Art (entrance fee not included, closed on Monday); Silver Museum, Costume Gallery and Boboli Gardens (entrance fee not included, closed on Monday)

You can choose from two possible tours: . Palatine Gallery and Royal Apartments, with the masterpieces by
Raphael, Titian, Rubens and the elegant rooms where the kings
lived; with the same ticket we can also visit the Gallery of
Modern Art, where the collections of XIX and XX century Tuscan
paintings are displayed. . Silver Museum, Costume Gallery and Boboli Gardens. In the beautifully frescoed rooms of the Silver Museum the collection of old and modern jewels, ancient vases, semi precious stones tables, silver and amber objects can be admired. The Costume Gallery houses a collection of costumes dating from the 18th to 20th century and the Boboli Gardens are filled with ancient statues, grottos, fountains, and precious collections of trees and flowers.
