Lake Maggiore Tours : BOTANICAL GARDENS

VILLA TARANTO
Between the most famous gardens in Europe, these gardens are due to the passion for botany and the love for nature of a Scottish Captain Neil Mc Eachern. The botanical patrimony of Villa Taranto includes about 20,000 different varieties of plants, trees and flowers from all over the world. From March to October we can admire different seasonal characteristics: spring with a polychromy of flowers: tulips, camellias, azaleas, rhododendrons, summer has a full bloom of dahlias more than 300 varieties, autumn with its soft tonalities of warm colours.

THE PALLAVICINO GARDEN
Stresa, with its lakeside promenade is among the most famous town of the lake and here is Villa Pallavicino: 16 hectares of botanical garden and zoological park. It is the typical English garden with century-old trees, supplied with flowers and animals: the garden of roses, the lake of swans, the small playing field for children, lovely views…..
