MONTALCINO AND ST. ANTIMO : The visit of the hamlet is very interesting and also the fortress, where it's possible to taste and buy local products such as honey and other sweets and Brunello wine, of course. Nearby there are many prestigious farmhouses where we can reserve a wine tasting and have a lunch. Near the village there is the Abbey of St. Antimo, founded by the emperor Charles the Great and enlarged in 13th century by Cistercians (the White Monks). We can listen to the service and gregorian chants according to the canonical hours.
