National Museum of Villa Guinigi is situated in beautiful 15th century residence of Lord of Lucca Paolo Guinigi. The museum conceived in a modern way contains various pieces come from different buildings of the town and in the surroundings. The rich palace contain many Etruscan, Roman, Medieval objects and the painting collection enriched by works of Deodato Orlandi, Angelo Puccinelli, Matteo Civitali, Fra Bartolomeo di Pietro da Cortona, Guido Reni, Giovanni Lanfranco and many others.
